The name of the cultivar, the hybridizer and year of registration is in the first column. This is followed by price, the description of the flower, the season of bloom, height and flower size, foliage type, and other characteristics. The height, flower size and season are what the hybridizer registered for his growing location but may vary somewhat. Rebloom is often registered but is not always reliable in our northern climate. I have noted in the description, some of the plants that have rebloomed for us. Abbreviations:

Dormant -(Dor.) the foliage dies back to the ground.
Semi-evergreen - (Sev.) some signs of green may be visible in the cold
weather.
Evergreen - (Evg) The foliage remains partially or completely green depending
on the growing zone. In colder regions most of the plants behave as if they

Diploid daylilies have 22 chromosomes; tetraploids (*) have double the number at 44. This is only important for breeding purposes as dips cross with dips and tets cross with tets.
